Zooming in Word 2007
January 8th, 2008 | by Loren |The 2007 location for Zoom is now in the View tab or the lower right-corner of the Office 2007 window. New or notable features are:
- Zoom slider for adjusting amount of zoom.
- Clicking the Zoom% next to the Zoom slider opens a dialog box for more zoom options. Most of those options are in the View tab, and can also be accessed from here.
- The Ruler has a new button for turning it on and off – at the top of the right-side scroll bar is a Ruler button as well, right below the Split-screen button. Under the View tab there is a checkbox option for the Ruler, too.
- You can still Zoom with your scroll-wheel mouse using Ctrl + scroll.
- If you want a particular Zoom for a document, set the Zoom, save the file, and the next time it’s opened it should be to the saved zoom setting.
