It’s tips like these that make me oh so happy. I had no idea 2007 had a “create your own shortcut” feature.

Hi Mike – as far as the underlined letters in the menus, you can just use the letter by itself.
To get to the Table menu from the keyboard, press Alt (you should see letters pop up by all menus), then N (for Insert), then T (for Table).
The Alt will also show the shortcuts for the Table Tools menus.

All I want to know is how to use the existing shortcut keys. They’re showing in the menus but they don’t tell what the key combination is. For example, to add a row below a table, there is an underscore B in Insert Below, but nothing tells how to use this shortcut. I have tried every combination of Alt, Ctrl, Shift, etc. Typical Bill Gates garbage for you.
